Description

The Credit Risk Team at KPMG is seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to lead their frontend development initiatives. You will use your expertise in React and related technologies to build and optimize web applications that are both innovative and robust. The role involves working with tools such as React, Next.js, Storybook, TailwindCSS, and hosting solutions in Azure. You will also ensure seamless communication between frontend components and backend models via REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the adoption of modern frontend technologies and methodologies
• Collaborate with architects and backend developers to design scalable and user-friendly solutions
• Develop, test, and optimize web applications using React, TypeScript, and associated libraries
• Ensure performance, responsiveness, and cross-platform compatibility
• Implement robust testing frameworks and ensure platform reliability
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, product owners, and stakeholders to meet project requirements
• Participate actively in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field
• 3–5 years of UI design and frontend development experience, preferably in the financial services sector
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue

• Experience building responsive web interfaces and understanding modern UI/UX practices
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of backend integration and cloud platforms
